The ANWB was working on a project to reorganise their assistance processes. Big part of this project was to merge their split systems (foreign and domestic) for the emergency center. I joined this project after some time maintaining the old system. It started out as helping to build the new system. A big challenge here was to integrate with their contracting system to check insurance coverage.
In a second phase I acted as technical analyst/architect to prepare and help the team implement support for vehicle transport and replacement cars. The reorganisation of the process was made exceptionally difficult because it needed to be implemented across multiple corporate entities. This did not only caused multiple integration points, but because of this split, the financial structure also had a great influence in the solution.
